For some people, there is much joy in “hunting” for just the right accessory for your home. I happen to fall in this group, which is why I love to go to Woodstock Market whenever I get a chance.

Woodstock Market is a unique combination of antiques, hand made goods, and re-purposed, up-cycled, and consigned items. They carry a great line of gifts and jewelry too.

Do not be fooled by its location in an empty Wal-Mart building! Woodstock Market is very similar to any antique store you may have visited, with vendors displaying their treasures in booths. There is a very wide range of styles, although you can be sure you will see some very Pinterest-inspired displays, much to my pleasure.

Whether you are looking for a large piece of furniture or an accent piece, Woodstock Market will have it. It is a great way to add a stylish, trendy new accent to your home without breaking the bank.

The first weekend of the month is the Woodstock Market & Show event. Local vendors bring their plants, flowers and produce, as well as local craftsmen with antiques, collectibles, architectural salvage and metal art.  The event runs Friday through Sunday.

Stop by and be inspired by all of the creativity, and tell them Scoop sent you.
