Many of you may have that neighborhood restaurant or bar, “where everyone knows your name!” For me, it is Wicked Wings in Canton. We love their pizza and wings and for now, they even have Suzanne’s Turkey Burger on the menu, which is obviously my favorite.
Long time owner Carlo Delpizzo recently sold the restaurant to businessman and commercial real estate broker, Andrew (Andy) Wolf, from Marietta. Before they signed the papers, Carlo already had been working on using three parking spots in fron
t of his restaurant become an outdoor patio with seating for 34! This has now been approved by the shopping center management team and construction will begin next week with an anticipated opening very soon. The patio will not be covered, but will be surrounded on three sides by a fence. The walkway will be open and clear in front of the restaurant.
With the warmer weather and March Madness in full swing, Wicked Wings will be opening for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays starting this week. We know the tennis crowd will love to have another close restaurant option. Andy plans on adding daily specials, more sandwiches, and speciality burgers to the menu. He is also going to expand their pizza delivery too.
The kitchen staff and current general manager, Joel Parlin, and his team are staying in place. That’s great, because not only do they all know my name, my drink, my food order and my kid’s desires, but they would love the opportunity to impress you too with their service and menu. By the way, Joel’s summer sangria is Scoop Approved!
I am sure this expansion will be great for families to enjoy dining out. With the newley opened The Butcher and The Bottle gastropub down the street, and the Las Palmas crowd next door, Wicked Wings is providing another outdoor patio for OTPers to enjoy. So stop by for the patio, the bar, the restaurant, and if you enjoy playing Keno, they have that too.
For you bike riders who tackle Blankets Creek, this is another close option to catch a bite and brew after your fun day of riding.
