A new restaurant and cocktail lounge is a welcome addition to the Downtown Canton scene. The Study has a soft opening this week, so be prepared to hear more from us in the future.
Their menu offers sushi, tapas, flatbreads, salads and of course signature cocktails. We are excited about owner Joseph Guynup’s investment in Cherokee County with his hip new bar — or as they want to be known: a modern Speakeasy!

“Welcome to The Study, a gathering place designed with the philosophy that all you need is two chairs and a drink to bring people together. We’ve created a nostalgic environment which mimics that of an old Speakeasy.
Unlike many other restaurant establishments, we are not concerned with “turning” tables; instead, we hope to provide a place where you can try some of our crafted cocktails, tapas and sushi, while enjoying the ambiance — at your leisure.”
