More than ten years ago, we met the Elf on the Shelf creators at an OTP Junior League event.
Now this family tradition (that was created right here in Marietta!) has been adopted by millions of families everywhere, and their product has catapulted into the national spotlight.
The concept is that Santa’s Elves help him manage his naughty and nice lists. During the Christmas season, the Elves are adopted by families. The Elves then make their appearance at the house every day and then fly back to the North Pole every night to tell Santa about the day’s adventures.
The boxed set includes a hardbound children’s book and one of Santa’s special Elves. The concept has evolved greatly since we purchased our original Elf in 2005. Check out the varieties of products and accessories here.
While it can be really fun and sometimes exhausting to come up with new ideas for your Elf, there are Pinterest pages dedicated to ideas and concepts to help you get through the entire month of your Elf’s visit.
Their own website is even kid friendly and interactive. Take it from us though, this time goes by fast with your little ones, so enjoy it!
