Star House Foundation

STAR House Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of STAR House is to enrich our community by promoting academic success and empowering lifelong achievement in at-risk children. We help children in need as they navigate through challenges and overcome barriers both inside and outside of the classroom, supporting them on their paths to academic success. This is accomplished by providing children with safe and productive alternatives during after school hours, including tutoring, mentoring, structured recreation, and enrichment activities. STAR House also provided a summer enrichment program to help children retain knowledge learned in the classroom and prepare for the upcoming school year.

The Roswell Beer Festival is THE major fundraiser for STAR House Foundation Unlike most beer festivals, 100% of all proceeds go directly to charity.

They currently serve over 250 children through four Roswell school programs and often have a waiting list. Our summer camp bridges the gap for 120 students at the elementary level, focusing on academic retention so students do not lose necessary skills over summer break.

Since 1993, STAR House Foundation has held this ideal: mold children into thoughtful leaders, and they will make their mark on those around them. From kindergarten through high school – STAR House provides academic support kids need to stay on the path to graduation.
