Sassy Sisters Décor

Have you ever looked at a something and thought, ‘I know I could make that!’? That is exactly what Kerry Sacklyn of Sassy Sisters Décor said when she saw a gorgeous but overpriced wreath. So, she decided to give it a shot! Making something beautiful that everyone could afford was her goal. sassywreath

Kerry created wreaths for the upcoming holiday seasons, as well as college themed wreaths (this is the South, after all) and it took off! She was fulfilling orders for friends and family and her business was growing just by word of mouth. She would even take people’s existing wreaths and freshen them up a bit!

Fast forward to the holiday shopping season, and she again was looking for gifts that she could make for those hard-to-shop for family members. She created custom made wooden frames, embellished with fluer de lis, crosses or initials. She decided to post one on Facebook, and within minutes she had over 50 orders! She was on her way to expanding her business.

Once her husband saw the response she was getting to her products, he got on board and now helps with all of the woodwork items and heavy lifting.

She sells her items at Woodstock Market in Woodstock, Bailey’s Bowtique in Canton, and Queen of Hearts in Marietta. Of course, you can always contact her directly for a custom order. (I haven’t seen any Ohio State wreaths yet, so I may just have to get myself one!) And tell her Scoop sent you!
