Nestled between Rite Aid and Vespucci’s Pizza Pasta Grill at the intersection of Jamerson Road and Hwy 5 (Main Street/Canton Hwy) is Ray’s Donuts. I must have passed this place a hundred times on my way to All Tournament Players Park, but I never noticed it until a friend recommended we Scoop it out.
According to the employees, Ray doesn’t have a website or a Facebook page because, “If the product is good, they will come.” And they do. I mentioned on my personal Facebook page that I tried Rays for Scoop, and I received tons of positive comments about everyone’s favorite flavors. Two sticky fingers up from the Taylor household!
We had the Boston Crème, Éclair, Apple Fritter, Chocolate Icing, & Pumpkin Spice. My friends raved about the Blueberry, D0nut Holes, and the traditional Vanilla and Chocolate Donuts.
Ray’s Donuts has been open about a year. The smell of freshly baked donuts greets you at the door. So go ahead and indulge with soft, moist, small batch baked donuts. Tell them Scoop sent you!
